Podcast production for coaches + therapists

You show up to the mic.I handle the rest.

From edit-only to fully hands-off podcast editing and publishing support, so you can focus on showing up to the mic and let someone you can trust handle the rest.

Let me guess

You didn't start a podcast to become a production manager.

And yet, the podcast you started as a joy is starting to feel like a job.

You were so excited to start your podcast and share your message, and you still love showing up to the mic. In fact, it's one of your favourite parts of your business.

But everything that comes after, to actually get it out into the world? It's eating up an entire day every single week.

Every week, one full day goes into editing episodes, creating thumbnails in Canva, making reels to promote your show, battling with Claude or ChatGPT for show notes that don't sound like a robot wrote them, and getting everything up on publishing platforms (which, let's face it, always takes waaaaay longer than you think it's going to).

You've got AI helping with as much of it as you can, but even with all the shortcuts, it's still taking you hours.

Editorial podcast production detail

The real cost isn't hiring podcast support. It's the day you're losing every week.

Without realising it, you've become a part-time video editor, audio engineer, graphic designer, copywriter, and social media expert just to get your episodes out each week.

And don't get me wrong. You're doing all the right things, using all the right tools. It's just that there are so many different pieces needed to get your episode out there.

And here's the part nobody talks about:

You're not actually saving money by doing it all yourself, because that day you're spending on podcast production every week? It isn't free.

It's time away from client calls and other work that grows your business. The tasks that cannot be outsourced.

The problem isn't that you can't do all the things to get your podcast out there each week. The problem is that it's time away from the tasks that need you at the centre of them. That are in your zone of genius. And if we're being honest, podcast editing is not one of them.

“Her creative eye AND technical skills to bring the vision to life are an incredible combo.”

Sarah-Jayne is such a delight to work with. Her creative eye AND technical skills to bring the vision to life are an incredible combo. Working with her on creative projects from ideation all the way through production brings such joy and relief. You know when you want to know that someone gets it and will make it happen? She's creative, brings fresh ideas, has great aesthetic, attention to detail and can own and run with things in a way that let's you trust it'll happen. Highly recommend!

You might be thinking...

I'm worried about losing creative control.

01

This is one of the most common things I hear, and it's a fair concern. Your podcast is your baby and you've worked really hard to get it to where it is. What if someone else cuts something you'd keep, or changes it in a way that just doesn't feel like you?

I get it.

That's why every package includes Your Signature Sound as part of onboarding. It's a call to understand your preferences, plus a proper listen back through 2–3 past episodes you choose — the ones that feel most like you.

Because every podcaster is different. Some like a natural flow, ums and pauses left in. Some like it polished. Some want every guest tangent kept; others want it cut right back to the strongest thing said in the room.

Once I know your editing vibe, I capture it all to reference going forward, so your episodes continue to feel like yours.

My podcast isn't big enough to justify this yet.

02

I get why it feels that way.

But the size of your audience isn't what tells you it's time for podcast support. The size of your time loss does. Whether you have 100 listeners or 10,000, that full day every week is still gone. And the smaller your show is right now, the more important it is to free up the time to actually grow it.

Your podcast has the potential to be one of the strongest lead drivers in your coaching or therapy business, if it isn't already. When you're not doing all the production yourself, you get the time back to grow it — and a growing podcast means more visibility, more trust, and more listeners turning into clients.

I can just keep doing this myself.

03

You can. You have been. And there's nothing wrong with the way you've been doing it.

But the question isn't can you keep doing this yourself — it's whether you want to. Whether the day you're spending on podcast production every week is the best investment of your time, or whether having that time back could open up opportunities to focus on other areas of your business you've been neglecting.

Podcast production support gives you at least a whole workday back. Imagine what that could open up for you and your business.

Picture this.

This is what changes when you get support with your podcast.

Sitting down at your desk for another several hours of editing, knowing your podcast matters, but feeling the pull of everything else that needs you today.

You record your episode, upload the raw files to a Google Drive folder, and close the laptop. The edit is handled and your day is your own again.

The episode hanging over you all week. The edit half-done, assets still needing to be created, the mental load of it making it hard to focus on anything else.

A polished, ready-to-publish episode landing in your Google Drive, edited with care by someone who doesn't just remove the ums and pauses but actually listens for what's brilliant in what you and your guests said.

Working late into the evening catching up on client work you didn't get to, because the day went to thumbnail fiddling, caption wrangling, and a show notes draft that still sounds like a robot wrote it.

Logging off at the time you'd planned to. Dinner, sofa and catching up on the latest season of Love Island, knowing your podcast is handled.

Hi, I'm

Sarah-Jayne

All that podcast production you want off your plate? Turns out that's my flow state.

Thirteen years ago, editing and I had a blind date when I took a summer job filming and editing a documentary at a kids' acting camp, having never edited in my life. As it turns out, between my passion for storytelling and my ear for music and rhythm, trimming a timeline is my love language.

Fast forward to today: I've spent over a decade editing video and, since 2019, have run my own marketing business supporting start-ups and coaches with everything from YouTube, social media and podcast editing to email marketing campaigns, copywriting, and marketing strategy.

My marketing experience means I'm not just thinking about how your podcast sounds. I'm also thinking about what it's doing — what it needs to do for your business, who it's reaching, and how every episode and asset supports those goals.

A few things about me: I'm a creativity coach, poet, singer-songwriter, podcast editor, and co-founder of a sailing charter business. You'll likely find me hiking the trails or at a yoga class in my mountain-town home of Squamish, Canada. My go-to bevvie is a passionfruit martini and New York is my favourite place in the world.

frequently askedQuestions

Do you also offer audio-only podcast editing packages?

My packages are built around video and audio combined editing, but we can create an audio-only package for you!

What does "up to 60 minutes of raw footage" mean, and why is there a limit?

"Raw footage" refers to the length of the raw episode you send me, before it's edited. The 60-minute cap is there because each extra minute of raw footage is a few extra minutes of editing time, and this limit keeps pricing sustainable and fair for both of us. Most solo and interview-style podcasts fall comfortably within it. If your episodes tend to run longer, I offer per-15-minute overage pricing so you're never surprised, and if you consistently record longer, we can build a custom package that best suits your podcast.

Can you batch edit episodes?

Yes, absolutely! In fact, this is my preferred way to work, so if you're a podcaster who tends to record multiple episodes at once, I'm more than happy to work on several at a time for you. Each podcaster works differently, so we can co-create a cadence and way of working that supports you best.

What is the turnaround time for getting my episodes and assets delivered?

This is something we can discuss on a case by case basis, depending on whether you prefer a batching style agreement or week to week. We will agree on your preferred delivery time/day etc, making sure there's enough time for your review of the episodes/assets before your publishing date, incase any revisions are required.

How do revisions work?

Every episode and asset comes with one round of revisions built in, meaning after I deliver, you get to send back any tweaks (a section you'd like re-cut, a thumbnail adjustment, a show notes rewrite) and I'll turn them around quickly. Most of the time, this is more than enough. If additional rounds are ever needed, we can explore that on a case by case basis!

Do we have regular calls once we're working together?

Once we're up and running, I generally find regular calls aren't necessary and our agreed communication channel (usually WhatsApp or email) tends to be enough. My podcast services are designed to take as much off your plate as possible, and constant check-ins can add to your workload. That said, if you'd like ongoing calls or want to book one in occasionally, we can add that to your package and adjust pricing accordingly.

What if I want to try you out first?

I offer a single trial edit (Tier One package only) at a low cost with no commitment, no long-term contract. Just one episode edited so you can hear what your show sounds like in my hands before you decide anything. Mention it on our discovery call and we'll make it happen!

Why don't you offer publishing in your first two tiers?

Publishing sits in Tier 3 (and is by enquiry) because it requires being integrated into your business systems — your hosting platform, your YouTube channel, your social media accounts — which involves more onboarding time and a more ongoing, connected working relationship. Each podcaster also has a different mix of publishing platforms and cadence, so pricing needs to be tailored to what you're actually publishing where. On a call, we can talk through your setup and put together a Full Hands-Off package that fits you and your podcast.

Do you offer podcast strategy or launch services?

Podcast strategy and launching is currently not included in my packages, and there's a reason for that. After working across many areas of marketing for several years, including strategy, I've found that because your podcast is a part of the wider ecosystem of your business, offering strategy would require me to be much more intimately embedded in your business as a whole. That's a different kind of support than what I'm able to offer at this time, but I'm hoping it may be something I am able to offer in the future!

Why are your packages by episode instead of monthly retainer?

Not every podcaster publishes on the same cadence — some are weekly, some biweekly, some batch a season and take a break. Pricing by episode (in 4 packs) keeps things simple and fair no matter how you release. If a monthly retainer works better for how you run your show, we can absolutely structure something that fits — just mention it on our call. I'm also happy to offer a discount to podcasters who want to book multiple episode packages or work on a longer term retainer basis.

Do you offer discounts for longer-term commitments?

Absolutely! If you're planning to work with me over a longer period, whether you're booking multiple episode packages, committing to a season, or moving to a retainer arrangement, I'm happy to offer a discount that reflects that commitment.
